Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role

Join an engineering team building software for insurance and claims workflows. As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with customers to understand technical challenges and deliver reliable software that addresses them in production.

What You'll Do

• Work with customers and end users to understand their technical problems and turn them into software solutions.

• Build, ship, and support production software using an appropriate language and technology stack.

• Design and architect systems that meet customer needs and operate reliably in cloud environments.

• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.

• Contribute to infrastructure, DevOps, or systems-level work as needed.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience as a software engineer building and shipping production software.

• Experience shipping software in one or more of Python, Go, Rust, C++, Java, or TypeScript.

• Experience working directly with customers or end users to understand and resolve technical problems.

• Experience debugging production systems, designing software systems, and working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

• Background in infrastructure, DevOps, or systems-level programming is valuable, as is experience in an early-stage startup or high-growth environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $165,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
