Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI / Voice AI)

Our client, a rapidly growing AI startup based in New York City, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build the next generation of AI-powered voice agents transforming how B2C businesses engage with customers. The company develops AI solutions that automate customer outreach, qualification, and engagement across voice, SMS, email, and other communication channels. Their platform enables organizations in industries such as financial services, insurance, mortgage, and education to engage customers faster, improve conversion rates, and streamline sales workflows through intelligent automation. As an early member of the engineering team, you'll work directly with the CTO in a highly collaborative environment, building core product capabilities from the ground up. This is an opportunity to take ownership of major technical initiatives, influence product direction, and make a significant impact at a well-funded, seed-stage startup. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack applications. Build AI-powered products and new agent capabilities from the ground up. Develop and integrate customer engagement features across voice, SMS, email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels. Collaborate closely with the CTO and engineering team to deliver new features from concept through production. Contribute to technical architecture, engineering best practices, and product improvements in a fast-paced startup environment. Technology Stack Required: TypeScript Plus: React, Go, AI / LLM integrations, Voice AI technologies Job Requirements 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience. Strong experience with TypeScript and modern full-stack development. Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications using modern AI tools and technologies. Experience working in startup or high-growth environments is strongly preferred. Passion for building products from the ground up and taking ownership of technical initiatives. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Experience with voice AI, conversational AI, or customer engagement platforms is a plus. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $200,000 - $230,000 + Meaningful equity package Hybrid work environment in New York City (in-office collaboration several days per week) Visa transfers supported (excluding new H-1B petitions)
