The Opportunity

Our client is a global financial services group with a significant international footprint, providing market access, liquidity, execution and risk-management solutions across a broad range of financial and commodity markets. Within FX, the business provides institutional and corporate clients with access to a broad range of products, including spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs and options, supported by tailored execution and liquidity solutions. They're investing significantly in the growth of its European FX business, with this role playing a pivotal part in developing and expanding its presence in the German market.

The Role

This role sits within the corporate FX division, and the team are looking for a German-speaking FX Dealer to join their existing trading operation in Milan. This is an opportunity to be one of the key players helping develop their German FX presence, working closely with the existing European trading team, while also becoming the go-to dealer for all future German FX flow.

This is a classic dealing position but with significance, so having a solid grounding in FX dealing is important, especially experience with options and derivatives. For the right person, there is considerable scope to make an impact - the German franchise is at an early stage, so there's genuine potential to shape the trading proposition rather than simply step into an established book.

What we're looking for

Experience working on an FX dealing or trading desk, with strong knowledge of FX options and derivatives.
Experience working within a regulated European/MiFID environment.
The ability to make decisions quickly and manage risk in a fast-moving market.
A genuine interest in helping build out a developing market.
This position is based in Milan - willing to offer relocation for the right candidate.
