The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a fast-growing, AI-native infrastructure company to hire a Senior Growth Engineer. This is a full-stack engineering role focused entirely on product-led growth.
You’ll own the product experience from initial signup through activation, onboarding, and conversion. Success in this role isn’t measured simply by features shipped—it’s measured by the funnel metrics you directly improve.
You’ll instrument user behavior, identify opportunities in the funnel, develop hypotheses, run experiments, ship production code, and iterate based on measurable results.
This is a high-ownership individual contributor role for an engineer who wants to combine strong full-stack development with experimentation, analytics, and product thinking.

The company is an early-stage, rapidly scaling AI infrastructure business building developer-facing technology used by teams creating modern AI applications and agents.
The business has achieved significant commercial traction in a short period of time and has developed a large developer community around its technology.
The team remains intentionally lean. Engineers own meaningful areas of the product end to end and are expected to operate with significant autonomy, urgency, and accountability.

What You’ll Do
- Own key growth surfaces across signup, onboarding, activation, conversion, and upgrade experiences
- Build and ship full-stack product experiences from frontend interactions through supporting backend systems
- Instrument the product funnel and use behavioral and product data to identify growth opportunities
- Design and run A/B tests and growth experiments
- Own conversion and activation metrics and be accountable for materially improving them
- Analyze funnels using event tracking, SQL, and product analytics platforms
- Form hypotheses, ship experiments quickly, measure results, and iterate based on what the data shows
- Partner closely with company leadership to help shape the product-growth roadmap
- Build internal tooling where appropriate to help product and growth teams move faster
- Work directly on developer-facing product surfaces including APIs, playgrounds, SDKs, documentation experiences, and onboarding flows
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 5–12 years of software engineering experience, with strong full-stack capabilities
- Hands-on growth or PLG experience as an individual contributor within an early-stage or growth-stage technology company
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end PLG features such as onboarding, activation flows, upgrade prompts, or conversion experiences
- Clear examples where your engineering work measurably improved a conversion, activation, retention, or funnel metric
- Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js
- Experience designing and running A/B tests or structured product experiments
- Experience instrumenting and analyzing funnels using event tracking, SQL, and/or product analytics tools
- Ability to operate as a trusted senior IC who can influence the growth roadmap while remaining highly hands-on
- Strong product instincts and comfort working across both frontend and backend systems
- A track record of owning work long enough to measure its impact and iterate on the outcome
- An AI-native development workflow, with tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar tools incorporated into day-to-day engineering
Nice to Have
- Experience building developer tools, APIs, SDKs, playgrounds, documentation surfaces, or other developer-facing products
- Experience building PLG experiences within a SaaS or developer-tools company
- Experience creating internal tools adopted by product or growth teams
- Production experience working with LLMs, including prompt engineering, tool use, or inference pipelines
- Experience with technologies such as Vercel, PostgreSQL, Tailwind CSS, Python, and LLM APIs
- Experience with analytics and observability platforms such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog, or Datadog

Visa Sponsorship
The company is open to visa transfers, including OPT and H-1B transfers.
Additional sponsorship situations may be discussed for truly exceptional candidates, but new sponsorship outside of transfers is not currently standard practice.
This Role Is Not a Fit For
This is not a growth marketing position. The person hired will be a production software engineer who owns growth outcomes.
It will likely not be a fit for:
- Frontend-only or backend-only specialists who don’t want full-stack ownership
- Engineers who have shipped features but have never owned or measured the resulting business/product outcome
- Growth marketing, SEO/content, lifecycle, CRM, or GTM operations profiles
- Research or infrastructure/platform engineers without strong product instincts
- Engineers who view AI development tools as occasional experimentation rather than part of their everyday workflow
- Candidates with a consistent pattern of short engagements without evidence of seeing major initiatives through
Working Style
The company operates with a high level of urgency and expects engineers to ship, measure, learn, and iterate quickly.
You’ll have substantial autonomy, but that comes with equally substantial ownership. This is an environment for someone who would rather put a strong hypothesis into production, measure what happens, and improve it than spend excessive time perfecting an idea on paper.
