HR Advisor – Global Investment Manager
Switzerland Headquarters | Relocation Opportunity
My client, a leading global investment manager, is looking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor to join their headquarters in Switzerland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, hands-on HR professional with 4–7 years of generalist experience, including direct exposure to Luxembourg and the wider Benelux region, to take on a varied role within an international investment management business.
Working closely with managers, employees and the wider HR team, you will provide practical advice across the employee lifecycle, combining strong local knowledge with a personable, commercially minded approach.
Your responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR contact for employees and managers, providing clear advice on day-to-day people matters.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation reviews, internal moves and departures.
- Advise on employee relations matters, handling sensitive situations with sound judgement and discretion.
- Support the application of Luxembourg employment requirements and coordinate HR matters across the wider Benelux region.
- Prepare employment contracts, amendments and other HR documentation, maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, benefits administration and employee queries with internal teams and external providers.
- Support performance reviews, development planning and annual compensation processes.
- Assist with international mobility and relocation, helping employees transition smoothly into the Luxembourg business.
- Contribute to recruitment activity, working with hiring managers to deliver a positive candidate experience.
- Help improve HR policies, systems and processes as the business develops.
Your background
- 4–7 years of broad, hands-on HR generalist experience, ideally gained within investment management, financial services or another international professional environment.
- Direct Luxembourg HR experience is essential, together with exposure to HR practices in Belgium and/or the Netherlands.
- A strong working understanding of Luxembourg employment practices, employee relations and HR administration.
- Confidence advising managers and employees, with the ability to balance business needs and a fair, consistent approach.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, approachable style and the discretion required to handle confidential information.
- Fluent English and French, Dutch or other relevant European languages would be an advantage.
- An HR, business or related qualification would be beneficial.
- Willingness to relocate to Switzerland and work from my client’s headquarters.
The opportunity
You will join a prestigious global investment manager in a role offering broad responsibility, close interaction with the business and the opportunity to contribute to an international HR function.
For an HR professional looking to build on their Luxembourg and Benelux experience, this offers an attractive next step and the opportunity to establish a long-term career at the heart of the organisation.
