Job Summary
Overall Purpose:
The Senior Manager within the Recovery and Resolution Unit (RRU) is accountable for the governance, coordination and continuous enhancement of the Bank’s Recovery Plan and Resolution-related frameworks. The role focuses on ensuring the Bank’s preparedness for stress scenarios, supporting the development of credible recovery options to the Joint Supervisory Team (JST) and coordinating resolution-related submissions to the Single Resolution Board (SRB). The position is responsible for overseeing submissions to the regulator, ensuring consistency, completeness and alignment with regulatory expectations, and for providing guidance to Analysts and Senior Analysts within the unit. The role also involves close engagement with senior stakeholders, including Treasury, Finance and senior management as well as supervisory authorities.

Required Criteria
Previous proven work experience of six (6) years in Risk Management, Recovery Planning, Resolution Planning or a related area, two (2) years of which managing a team, project or initiative, and an MQF Level 6 Award in Finance, Economics, Banking or related discipline or equivalent professional qualification.
OR
Previous proven work experience of eight (8) years in Risk Management, Recovery Planning, Resolution Planning or a related area, two (2) years of which managing a team, project or initiative.
OR
Previous proven work experience of four (4) years in Risk Management, Recovery Planning, Resolution Planning or a related area, two (2) years of which managing a team, project or initiative, and an MQF Level 6 Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Banking or related discipline or a related field.

Applicants are required to satisfy the Bank’s minimum eligibility criteria of four (4) O’Levels at Grade 5/C or higher, including English Language, in addition to any role‑specific requirements outlined above. This requirement shall not apply where applicants are already in possession of an MQF Level 6 Degree or higher.
