Senior Member of Technical Staff, Platform

About the Role

Join the platform team at an early-stage AI agent company to build the infrastructure and backend systems that support research and customer-facing products. You will work closely with product and research teams to make agent workloads reliable, scalable, and easier to develop.

What You'll Do

• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure, storage, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and security for research and production environments.

• Build internal developer tools, automation, and shared libraries that help teams work efficiently.

• Develop reliable systems for data management, model experimentation, evaluation, and deployment.

• Improve build, test, and release workflows from prototype through production.

• Monitor service and pipeline performance, and collaborate with partner teams to resolve bottlenecks and support reproducible results.

• Help shape platform architecture as the product and organization scale.

• Build and operate backend services for agent workloads, including hosting, availability, security, networking, and scaling.

What We're Looking For

• 5 to 12 years of backend or platform engineering experience, with senior or staff-level individual contributor ownership and hands-on coding.

• Experience building a customer-facing product platform from scratch, ideally for an LLM or agent product.

• Strong backend fundamentals in Python or Go, APIs, databases and storage, and distributed systems.

• Working experience with Kubernetes and a major cloud provider, such as AWS or Google Cloud.

• Production experience with LLM or agent workloads, such as serving, orchestration, memory, tool use, or evaluation.

• Experience across both larger technology organizations and startups or research environments.

• Familiarity with data pipelines, job scheduling, or machine learning experimentation workflows, and strong technical or computer science fundamentals.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $200,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
