Senior Options Trader

We are working closely with a proprietary trading firm seeking an experienced options trader to join its Singapore-based trading team, with a particular focus on commodities markets.

This is a front-office role for someone who can combine strong options-market knowledge with disciplined risk-taking and a clear commercial mindset. You will manage and improve options-trading activity, assess market opportunities and risk in real time, and contribute to the wider development of the desk’s trading approach.

You will work closely with quantitative researchers, developers and internal business teams to enhance pricing, trading tools, workflows and overall desk performance. The team is looking for someone who will bring ideas, challenge established approaches constructively and help shape its future direction.

Required background

Professional experience trading options markets.
Commodity-options experience is strongly preferred.
A demonstrable record of sound risk management and strong trading performance.
Comfortable making decisions in dynamic market conditions.
Strong communication skills and an ability to work effectively with traders, researchers and engineers.
Coding experience or interest is beneficial.
