About the Role The Epworth Payroll Department is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to work on a full-time basis. You will report into the Payroll Supervisor and Payroll Manager and work in a team with eight other payroll employees, all responsible for a portion of the end-to-end payroll process. You will make an impact by: Checking of time sheet data within our rostering system (Time Target) including the running of several fortnightly reports Reconciliation/verifying of payroll results and data Responding to general payroll queries from employees via our on-line email ticketing service. Ad-hoc reporting is required and shared amongst the team members. You will have: Several years experience in a standalone payroll role, with full function knowledge and preferably within the Health Industry. Experience using the Chris21 Payroll System. Experience using a time and attendance system such as Time Target Excellent knowledge of payroll activities including calculating leave entitlements, superannuation, taxation and salary packaging High attention to detail with accurate data entry skills when dealing with high volumes of timesheet data entry. Extensive clerical experience in a service-oriented environment Great customer service skills Position Description Inherent Requirements We will review applications as we receive them.
