About the role

As the first Platform Security Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the security infrastructure that supports the company's AI platform. This role involves creating secure service templates, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code to ensure secure and efficient AI model serving.

You will have a significant impact on the security infrastructure's technical direction and help integrate automation, observability, and self-service capabilities to enhance team confidence. The security platform you build will directly support high-value deals with security-conscious enterprises.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement secure, multi-tenant infrastructure isolating customer data
• Build secure service templates and automation tools for production-ready services
• Manage infrastructure-as-code and GitOps best practices
• Expand platforms for alerting, secrets management, IAM, and automated remediation
• Collaborate with teams to meet compliance requirements through automated controls
• Participate in security on-call and improve operability and incident response

The Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of experience in production infrastructure with a focus on security
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript
• Experience with AI-assisted tooling and secure container deployment
• Familiarity with observability and incident-response tooling

Even Better

• Experience as an early or founding platform/infrastructure/security engineer
• Experience building internal platforms and developer portals
• Knowledge of software supply chain security and static analysis tooling
• Familiarity with detection and response data pipelines
• Understanding of enterprise compliance requirements
