We are looking to speak with established Private Bankers covering the Polish market for an opportunity with a global European institution.

The bank’s wealth arm manages in excess of EUR 210bn, with a total of EUR 2trillion across all business lines, combining the capabilities and international reach of a substantial banking group with a notably discreet and entrepreneurial approach to Private Banking.

Poland is an important growth market.

We are particularly interested in speaking with successful bankers currently based in Luxembourg, Warsaw or elsewhere in Poland who would consider relocating to Luxembourg to continue developing their Polish UHNW client franchise from an international Private Banking hub.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Market Head, you will be given the platform and autonomy to build a significant portfolio of Polish UHNW individuals, entrepreneurs and families.

The role will involve:

• Building and managing a portfolio of Polish UHNW clients
• Developing relationships with entrepreneurs, business owners and wealthy families
• Executing a clear business plan focused on sustainable AUM and revenue growth
• Leveraging the bank's global investment, advisory, financing, life insurance and wealth management capabilities
• Working closely with investment, credit and specialist teams to provide sophisticated cross-border solutions
• Developing connectivity between Poland, Luxembourg and the bank's wider international network
• Playing an important role in the continued development of the bank's Polish franchise

Major incentive relocating from Poland to Luxembourg

One of the particularly attractive elements of this opportunity is the proposition available to bankers willing to relocate from Poland to Luxembourg.

Luxembourg operates an attractive inpatriate tax regime for qualifying highly skilled professionals recruited from abroad.

Under the current regime, qualifying individuals can benefit from a 50% exemption on gross annual remuneration, up to €400,000 of remuneration - meaning as much as €200,000 of annual remuneration may be exempt from Luxembourg income tax, subject to the relevant eligibility requirements.

The regime can apply for the year of arrival and the following 8 years.

The bank is experienced in international recruitment and is well positioned to support qualifying hires through the relocation and impatriate process, making Luxembourg a particularly interesting proposition for established bankers currently based in Warsaw or elsewhere in Poland.
