• From Industry/Vaccines: Move away from hyper-siloed pipelines. Here, you will gain true scientific ownership from early-stage discovery across diverse RNA and therapeutic platforms right through to IND-enabling studies.
• From Academia/Immunology: Turn your deep mechanistic knowledge into human therapeutics. Translate your foundational insights into T-cell biology, cytokine signaling, and immune tolerance into active translational programs.

The Sweet Spot: Senior Mindset, Hands-On Execution

This role is specifically designed for a senior scientific thinker who genuinely enjoys being close to the science and doing the work, rather than just managing from a desk.

What you will do:

• Drive Bench Discovery: Independently design, execute, and analyze multi-parameter flow cytometry panels (staining, compensation, and analysis) to evaluate cellular and humoral immune responses.
• Develop Assays: Build and optimize robust in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo models for therapeutic candidate characterisation.
• Bridge to Development: Guide junior scientists and contribute your expertise to moving programs smoothly from discovery towards clinical translation.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: PhD in Immunology, Vaccinology, Virology, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Strong post-PhD experience (scaled appropriately for Scientist or Senior Scientist levels) with a strong translational track record.
• Technical Mastery: Exceptional, independent hands-on experience with flow cytometry panel design and in vivo models is essential.
• Advantageous Skills: Exposure to mRNA-LNP platforms, vaccine immunogenicity, or translational workflows (SOPs, IND preparation) is highly valued, but we are flexible on the exact mix for the right candidate.
