Senior Security Engineer

About the Role

Join the security team at a growing AI focused fintech company serving the financial services industry. You will strengthen application security and help secure AI agent workflows in a regulated banking environment, combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership.

What You'll Do

• Build and mature application security tooling, processes, and secure software development practices that fit naturally into engineering workflows.

• Partner with engineering to design secure AI agent workflows, protect data privacy, and mitigate AI specific vulnerabilities.

• Automate security processes by developing detection pipelines, improving vulnerability management, and reducing manual work.

• Lead incident response and turn lessons from incidents into lasting improvements.

• Support compliance and customer trust efforts, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and bank security requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Four to eight years of application security experience, including hands-on product security work in a fast growing environment.

• Experience with secure code review, threat modeling, penetration testing, and building security tools used by engineers.

• Strong coding skills and experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, AWS or GCP, cloud security, IAM, and secure SDLC practices.

• Understanding of AI and LLM security, with interest in securing agentic workflows.

• A bachelor's degree in a technical field and experience in fintech or regulated B2B software are valued.

• Experience with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance is helpful.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $190,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
