Job Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for estimating, analysis and control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements or for cost activities which require a high degree of technical skill. You will prepare cost studies, review cost trends, and develop and implement project requirements for cost control. Your detailed analysis will provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges. Major Responsibilities: Responsible for cost estimating, analysis, and control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements or for cost activities which require a high degree of technical skill Analyzes to provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges Develops and implements project requirements for cost control in accordance with established Bechtel and client contractual requirements, objectives, and procedures Ensures work is completed as scheduled, supporting project organizational and administrative activities Prepares cost studies using historical data, statistical analysis, and cost and quantity comparisons Reviews identified cost trends for cost effectiveness and suggesting alternatives when appropriate Maintains open communications with other organizations to support cost engineering analysis and control activities Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience Required Knowledge and Skills: What are the most important knowledge and skills (includes technical skills) that are needed UPON ENTRY to do the job successfully?
