Senior Software Engineer

The role / impact In this role, you will lead the delivery of customer-focused software solutions that directly shape the practice tools our partners rely on every day. You will solve complex, open-ended technical challenges with a high level of autonomy, bringing clarity to ambiguous problems and driving meaningful architectural improvements at scale. By collaborating across disciplines, you will influence engineering direction through data-informed decisions and clear communication. Rather than simply shipping features, you will reimagine everyday engineering workflows, integrating artificial intelligence and automation to unlock fresh capability for the team. The team / how they connect You will join a collaborative engineering community dedicated to supercharging small businesses by connecting them with enterprise-grade technology. Working closely with Lead and Principal Engineers, the team applies modern software delivery frameworks to raise the bar for system performance, reliability, and developer efficiency. Together, they champion agile practices and bring fresh industry patterns into the ecosystem to proactively solve high-stakes logic challenges. Initially, you will focus on Building full-stack features using React, Redux, C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server. Refactoring complex, monolithic systems while balancing legacy WebForms with modern distributed architectures on AWS. Reimagining everyday engineering workflows by researching, prototyping, and adopting AI-assisted development tools and automated agents. Participating in an on-call roster and incident response to help ensure round-the-clock product support and reliability. Here are some of the things we are looking for Deep technical expertise across C#, ASP.NET Core, modern frontend frameworks like React, and SQL Server data modelling. A background in the architecture, implementation, and refactoring of distributed systems using REST APIs on AWS. Demonstrated capability in integrating AI tools and automated agents into production environments to redesign workflows. Solid grounding in CI/CD concepts, automated tooling, and test-driven development principles. An inclusive approach to mentoring and coaching, combined with a challenger voice comfortable with disagreeing early to help design better systems.
