🚀 Founding Forward Deployed Engineer | NYC

I’m working with an exciting AI startup that is building autonomous revenue teams using AI agents, and they’re looking for their first Founding Forward Deployed Engineer.

This is a highly hands-on role where you’ll own customer deployments end-to-end, working directly with customer data and helping turn complex business requirements into working AI solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Own end-to-end customer deployments, from data access and schema mapping through to proving value

• Work closely with customers and stakeholders to understand their data and business requirements

• Build and deploy production data pipelines and systems

• Work extensively with SQL, data warehouses and dbt

• Help deploy and customise AI agents and LLM-powered workflows

• Contribute to the development of the wider platform and deployment processes

• Troubleshoot messy, undocumented data environments and turn them into actionable insights

What they’re looking for:

• 2–5 years’ experience in FDE, Data Science, Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering or a similar technical role

• Strong SQL and data warehouse experience

• Solid Python and applied data science fundamentals

• Experience working with production systems and/or data pipelines

• Customer-facing experience and the ability to manage technical conversations with stakeholders

• AI-native mindset, with hands-on experience using AI coding tools and/or building agent-driven workflows

• Comfortable working with complex, messy data and doing detailed data validation

Tech stack includes:

📍 Tribeca, New York City – 5 days onsite

💰 $180K–$250K base + competitive equity
