About the Role
Join a platform team building and maintaining infrastructure for an enterprise identity security product. You will help ensure the platform is reliable, secure, scalable, and performant while giving product engineers the tools they need to deliver features effectively.
What You'll Do
Own critical infrastructure components and make architectural decisions with significant autonomy.
Build and improve reliable, secure, scalable systems for enterprise customers.
Develop tools, systems, and engineering practices that help product teams ship quickly.
Partner with engineering leadership and product teams on roadmaps, architecture, and product decisions.
Work directly with customers on product feedback and infrastructure-related issues.
Improve engineering practices and processes across the platform team.
What We're Looking For
At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience focused on infrastructure or platform systems.
Strong software engineering and coding fundamentals, with experience building services and systems rather than only operating infrastructure.
Experience designing distributed systems and scaling backend systems for enterprise traffic or multi-tenant SaaS.
Proficiency in Go or a comparable systems language, plus Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, Terraform, GraphQL, TypeScript, and React.
Production experience with AWS and Google Cloud, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
Experience with event streaming or messaging systems such as Kafka, and with internal developer platforms or tooling.
A background in infrastructure engineering at established technology companies, startups, or both.
