Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Senior Quality Engineering) to drive quality excellence across our digital platforms and services. In this role, you will champion a quality-first engineering culture, leading the design and implementation of scalable test automation solutions while embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

You will collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing applications using modern engineering practices including automation, CI/CD, cloud-native testing, DevOps, and AI-powered quality engineering. As a technical leader, you will mentor teams, promote Shift-Left testing, and leverage Generative AI and Copilot technologies to enhance testing efficiency, developer productivity, and software quality.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in test automation, API and microservices testing, cloud technologies, and modern engineering practices, along with experience using AI-assisted development and testing tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms. What We're Looking For

Strong experience of 8-12 years in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or Software Engineering roles.

Hands-on expertise in:

Java, Playwright, Selenium, RestAssured, Cucumber, API & Microservices Testing.
Strong understanding of TDD, BDD, CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile delivery practices.
Experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure, along with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong experience in database, integration, and performance testing.
Proven ability to mentor teams and influence quality engineering best practices.

AI & Modern Engineering Skills

Experience with AI-assisted development and testing tools such as: GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, AI-powered testing platforms

Ability to:

Generate and optimize automated test cases using AI tools.
Use GenAI for coding, debugging, test data creation, and automation development.
Validate AI-generated outputs and implement responsible AI testing practices.
Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve engineering productivity.

Bonus Points

Experience implementing AI-driven testing and intelligent automation solutions.
Exposure to testing AI/ML and Generative AI applications.
Telecom domain experience (OSS/BSS).
Experience with performance engineering tools such as JMeter, K6, or Gatling.
Knowledge of Contract Testing, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).
Experience driving Quality Engineering transformation initiatives

• Drive a quality-first engineering culture through Shift-Left and continuous testing practices.
• Design and develop scalable test automation frameworks for web, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
• Champion test automation, TDD, BDD, and CI/CD practices across engineering teams.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and GenAI capabilities to improve test design, automation, defect detection, and developer productivity.
• Lead performance, reliability, security, and non-functional testing initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
• Mentor and coach teams on modern Quality Engineering practices and automation excellence.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and innovative testing solutions.
