Senior Strategy & Operations

About the Role

Join the strategy and operations function at a Series B AI-powered insurtech company, working directly with the CEO to scale claims operations. You will bring structure and data-driven thinking to the processes that support efficient, high-quality claims handling.

What You'll Do

• Own special projects and strategic initiatives in partnership with the CEO.

• Build and improve claims operations, including process design, workflows, and hiring plans.

• Design scalable, data-informed processes that improve operational and product workflows.

• Lead cross-functional problem solving with product, engineering, and business teams.

• Analyze complex operational challenges and bring clarity to high-impact initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience in strategy, operations, or business development, ideally in a fast-paced startup or scaling environment.

• Experience building financial models, business cases, or strategic plans that inform company decisions.

• Strong data analysis skills and the ability to turn findings into actionable recommendations.

• Experience managing cross-functional projects and improving processes or operational efficiency.

• Proficiency with SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar data tools, along with business intelligence platforms or advanced Excel modeling.

• Structured, detail-oriented communication skills and comfort working through ambiguity.

• Background in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or strategic operations is relevant.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $100,000 to $150,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Remote within the United States. The primary location is San Francisco, California.
