Senior Submarine Program Manager

Sonalysts, Inc., an employee-owned, high-technology service company, is currently seeking a former active-duty submarine officer with Command at Sea experience. This position is responsible for managing various submarine related projects and growing Sonalysts’ submarine related business. While the company was originally founded in 1973 with a focus on sonar analysis (hence the name) for the Navy, Sonalysts has since expanded into a variety of other Defense and Commercial spaces. Salary ranges between $155,000-$180,000, dependent on experience, qualifications and other relevant business criteria. Required Qualifications: Previously served as an active duty Submarine Commanding Officer Must be a U.S. Citizen, eligible to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret/SCI level security clearance* Preferred candidates will possess the following: Submarine Major Command experience Experience in a training command or responsibility for tactical training Deployed operational experience as SSN/SSGN Commanding Officer Submarine acquisition, budgeting or resource sponsor staff experience Relevant submarine related industry experience Strong credentials in submarine sonar, fire control, imaging and/or electronic warfare Possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret/SCI level security clearance* *Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check. Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.
