We have an exciting opportunity for an onsite Senior Systems Engineer to join our Test Solutions (TS) directorate in McKinney, Texas. TS is a multi-discipline organization responsible for contributing to the development of test solutions for all Raytheon products. Typical work involves designing interface assemblies, selection and integration with test instruments and environments, and developing test systems for all Raytheon products including both lab engineering and factory production test systems. The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, integration and validation of the automation analysis software for multiple production programs, using engineering best practices. What You Will Do Work with hardware, software, and program engineers to design and develop automated analysis software for multiple program products Implement system software engineering best practices in planning, development, and execution of scope, schedule, and budget Effectively communicate technical information in formal design review settings Provide hands-on support to product testing within an engineering and production test environment Report program status weekly Support the Section Manager and Team Lead in the execution of the RF Technologies department goals Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Minimum five (5) years experience with the following: Experience with Perl programming UNIX / Linux operating environment experience RF domain knowledge, including experience processing RF parametric test data SQL commands Ability to obtain a U.S. Interim Secret security clearance prior to the start date.
