Opportunity - We currently have an opening for a Senior Tax Associate at our Seattle, Washington headquarters office. You will be a key contributor that supports tax compliance, planning and financial reporting for our Real Estate Investment Trusts and our large manufacturing C corporation. Your role will report to a Senior Tax Manager. You will be accountable for projects such as tax compliance, transfer pricing, tax research, audit support and quarterly tax provision support. You will also provide key analysis and recommendations to your manager and other leaders within the tax department. Primary Responsibilities: Prepare US federal and state income tax filings Calculate tax projections to support quarterly and yearend tax provision efforts Assist with federal, state and/or international tax projects Research and analyze tax issues and incorporate law changes into current year filings Provide guidance to interns on tax projects Work effectively in multiple team environments Prepare tax calculations for timber and timberlands projects Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in accounting or finance. Masters of Tax is beneficial in this role. Certifications: Certified Public Accountant preferred. Experience: 2-4 years combined in public accounting and/or a large multi-national corporation with corporate income tax emphasis. Some combination of public accounting experience is preferred. What We Offer: Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $82,500-$123,800 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use.
