Senior Tax Manager Salary: up to 5250€ gross per month Apply As our Senior Tax Manager , you will serve as our lead in-house tax expert, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (or designated lead). In this role, you will take full ownership of identifying, planning, and executing global strategic tax initiatives that support our company’s operations and financial performance, bringing in external tax advisers where appropriate. You will be directly responsible for preparing quarterly tax provisions and transfer pricing calculations, while overseeing our outsourced tax activities including annual tax provisions, US federal and state returns, foreign filings, and transfer pricing reports. Working closely with our Finance and Operations teams across the business, you’ll keep our global growth compliant, smart, and efficient. Core responsibilities Identify, plan, and execute global strategic tax initiatives to optimize company financial operations. Prepare quarterly tax provision calculations under US GAAP and IFRS standards. Oversee external tax advisors handling annual provisions, US federal/state returns, foreign tax filings, and transfer pricing reports. Act as the primary point of contact for all internal and external tax questions, group tax audits, and statutory auditors. Ensure Group Transfer Pricing principles are documented and followed while assisting with domestic sales/use tax, property taxes, and international VAT filings. Drive process improvements through modern technology tools and present clear tax solutions to executive leadership. Experience and key competencies Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Law, or Tax Administration. At least 8 years of finance and accounting experience with a strong focus on international tax strategy development. Deep knowledge of direct, indirect, and international tax frameworks. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other technology tools and/or tax provision and compliance software is considered an advantage. High emotional intelligence with a proven ability to build and manage strong relationships across international teams. Highly organized self-starter with excellent communication skills and a desire to tackle new challenges outside your comfort zone.
