Senior Technical Manager - Thailand

SeaMarque is partnering with a leading international maritime organisation to recruit an experienced Technical Manager for its Bangkok operations.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead the technical management of a specialist fleet of tankers, supported by a team of Technical and Drydocking Superintendents.

The role

Lead the safe, reliable and cost-effective technical management of the fleet
Manage and develop a multicultural shore-based technical team
Oversee vessel performance, maintenance, repairs and drydockings
Drive improvements in fleet reliability, efficiency and compliance
Manage technical budgets and major projects
Work closely with senior leadership and other business functions

The ideal candidate

Technical Manager, Fleet Manager or experienced senior Technical Superintendent
Strong tanker experience
Hands-on knowledge of dual-fuel engines, ideally Warsilla
Proven people-management experience
Familiarity with European and international maritime regulations
Comfortable working across different cultures, particularly in Asia
Chief Engineer's licence or relevant marine engineering qualification preferred
Ideally available within one to two months

The level of appointment may be flexible for an exceptional senior candidate.
