Senior Technical UI Artist

We are seeking a Senior Technical UI Artist to bridge the gap between UI design and real-time engine implementation, crafting polished interfaces, motion systems, and visual effects that elevate the player experience.

Responsibilities

• Transform UX wireframes into polished UI designs, prototypes, design systems, and style guides using Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Implement final UI in UE5 through UMG, Slate, widget animations, Material Editor, Niagara, Level Sequencer, and basic Blueprint logic
• Build and maintain menus, HUD, UI materials, shaders, VFX, animations, transitions, micro-interactions, and motion systems
• Establish reusable UI frameworks, material functions, VFX, motion templates, and asset libraries
• Apply cameras, lighting, and post-processing where 3D meets UI (spatial/diegetic UI)
• Optimize UI assets across PC, console, and mobile platforms, including texture atlasing, shader cost, and performance profiling

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UI Art, UI Tech Art, Technical Art, or Game UI Development
• Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 UI workflows
• Expertise in UMG, Slate, Material Editor, Niagara, Blueprints, and Sequencer
• Skills in shaders, materials, and real-time VFX
• Understanding of UI animation, motion design, timing, easing, micro-interactions, and transition design
• Background in shader development, texture optimization, atlasing, and performance profiling
• Familiarity with cross-platform UI scaling
• Understanding of lighting, post-processing, cameras, and spatial/diegetic UI in real-time rendering
• Strong visual design fundamentals in typography, composition, hierarchy, iconography, and branding
• Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX visual design, iconography, texturing, and in-engine motion/FX work
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
