ServiceNow Solution Consultant - 2 days on site
Methodius IT RecruitmentAre you an experienced ServiceNow professional who wants to move beyond technical delivery and play a genuine role in shaping how organisations transform?
We’re looking for a ServiceNow Solution Consultant to join a purpose-led transformation business working at the intersection of technology, innovation and positive societal impact. You’ll work with recognised organisations across the UK and internationally, helping them use technology to create meaningful, lasting outcomes.
This is an opportunity to combine deep ServiceNow expertise with consulting, solution design and customer advisory. You’ll work directly with senior stakeholders, understand complex business challenges and translate them into practical, scalable solutions that deliver real value.
This is not simply a development role. You’ll be trusted to challenge thinking, lead technical conversations, shape future-state solutions and take ownership of key workstreams.
What You’ll Do
You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey, from discovery and workshops through to solution design and delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading customer workshops and translating business challenges into effective ServiceNow solutions.
- Designing scalable, maintainable solutions aligned to ServiceNow best practice and customer objectives.
- Producing technical specifications, solution designs, user stories and other key delivery artefacts.
- Providing technical leadership across projects and smaller delivery workstreams.
- Reviewing configuration, integrations, testing, code quality and technical documentation to ensure high standards.
- Communicating complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and maximise the value customers gain from ServiceNow.
- Exploring and integrating AI-led thinking and capabilities into workflows, solution design and problem-solving where appropriate.
- Supporting responsible AI adoption by considering practical, ethical and business implications.
- Mentoring and coaching Technical Consultants and Associate Technical Consultants.
- Staying ahead of ServiceNow developments, emerging capabilities and industry best practice.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll bring 8+ years’ experience within ServiceNow Professional Services, consulting or a comparable customer-facing technical environment, together with a strong understanding of the full delivery lifecycle.
You’ll ideally have expertise in one or two ServiceNow products or workflows, supported by relevant certifications such as CSA, CAD and/or CIS.
More importantly, you’ll bring a genuine consulting mindset. You’ll be confident asking challenging questions, influencing stakeholders and guiding customers towards solutions that deliver long-term value—not simply implementing what’s initially requested.
You’ll also have:
- Strong solution design and technical leadership experience.
- Proven experience translating requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Excellent customer-facing, presentation and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience with technical governance, integrations and quality assurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience leading technical workstreams and mentoring others.
- The confidence to work autonomously while collaborating effectively in a remote environment.
- An interest in applying AI thoughtfully to improve workflows, decision-making and customer outcomes.
Why Join?
You’ll work on high-profile, complex transformation programmes alongside experienced consultants, technologists and industry specialists. Every engagement will bring new challenges, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience, strengthen your consulting profile and influence meaningful change.
With a predominantly remote working model and approximately two days per month on client site, you’ll have flexibility without losing the valuable face-to-face interaction that makes great consulting relationships work.
If you’re ready to become more than a ServiceNow technical specialist—to become a trusted advisor who shapes solutions, influences decisions and creates lasting customer value—this could be your next career move.
