  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records using asset management and maintenance systems.
  • Deliver maintenance projects across gravity, vacuum and low-pressure sewer networks, including rising mains.
  • Coordinate sewer overflow response, environmental sampling and other operational activities.
  • Contribute to maintenance planning and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset performance.
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings and technical specifications, and utilise digital systems for reporting and asset management.
  • Manage budgets and expenditure in accordance with financial delegations.

  • Proven success in sewer maintenance or similar role.
  • Leadership and coordination of small to medium-sized teams.
  • Experience in construction and maintenance industries.
  • Experience operating minor/major plant equipment.

Grade 6

All Of The Above And

  • Trade Qualification Plumber and Drainer with a min of 2 years post-trade experience (4+ years preferred) or equivalent.
  • Managing budgets and delegations.
  • Development of and/or contribution to works programming.
  • Performance management of team and team development, e.g. training, skills development, performance reviews.
  • Coordination and liaison with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external agencies.
