We have new opportunities to work within an established 21-bed Elective Surgical ward & Enhanced Care Unit, for a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse.
The successful candidates should be enthusiastic and innovative. They need to be motivated with excellent communication and leadership skills and be able to support the Senior Sister and Multidisciplinary team in providing patient centred, high standards of care, and efficient safe management of patients.
The successful candidate must have experience in post-operative care.
They will need to be confident in leading the team in the absence of the Senior Sister.
Main duties of the job
The applicants should be able to demonstrate the use of evidence-based practice, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with a readiness to innovate and develop nursing within a team approach.
