Job Summary We are looking for a highly driven SDE II to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on expertise in Python, solid backend engineering fundamentals, and the adaptability to contribute to scalable fintech systems. You will play a key role in building robust applications, taking ownership of features, and driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment. Where You Can Create Impact Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, services, and APIs primarily using Python. Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions. Leverage modern coding tools and frameworks to write efficient, clean, and maintainable code. Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, and the implementation of engineering best practices. Take end-to-end ownership of assigned features—from design and development to deployment and monitoring. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance for a smooth user experience. Requirements for the Role Must Have 2-4 years of hands-on software development experience in backend or full-stack engineering roles. Strong programming expertise in Python and related frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, or Flask). Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles. Proven problem-solving ability with a strong focus on code quality, security, and scalability. High ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive outcomes and deliver results. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams. Good to Have Experience working with AWS or other cloud service providers. Familiarity with database design (both relational SQL and NoSQL databases). Prior exposure to building and deploying cloud-native applications and microservices. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and modern DevOps practices. Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Vue) is a plus.
