About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on software development experience to support client projects across the United States.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java backend development, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, databases, and cloud technologies. Candidates should be comfortable working on complex, scalable applications and be open to working from client locations based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performing applications using Java and modern backend technologies.
• Build and enhance Spring Boot applications, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and production-quality code following software engineering best practices.
• Work with relational databases and data-access technologies to design efficient application solutions.
• Integrate applications with third-party systems, messaging platforms, and enterprise services.
• Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues and improve application performance and reliability.
• Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, business analysts, and product teams.
• Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
• Support applications throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong expertise in Java
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs and Microservices
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with JPA / Hibernate
• Experience with application integration and distributed systems
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

• AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologies
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or other CI/CD tools
• Redis or distributed caching technologies
• React or Angular
• Java concurrency and multithreading
• High-volume or mission-critical enterprise applications

Location

Multiple Client Locations Across the USA

Candidates should be open to relocation based on client and project requirements.
