Software Engineer

🚀 We are Hiring: Software Engineer (Backend / Full Stack)

Location: New York, NY (4 days in-office, WFH Fridays)

Salary: $180,000 - $230,000 / year + Competitive Equity

About the Role:

We are looking for a Backend / Full Stack Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join an engineering team building high-impact financial infrastructure that processes billions of dollars in nonprofit payments. You will own systems end-to-end—from architecture to shipping—working directly with founders and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Build and own backend server applications and components powering the payment platform end-to-end.

• Drive architectural decisions across APIs, backend systems, and infrastructure.

• Collaborate directly with founders, product, and engineering teams.

• Improve real-time monitoring and alerting capabilities to optimize product performance.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 2–10 years in backend engineering, preferably at a reputable VC-backed startup or top-tier tech company.

• Tech Stack: Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Infrastructure & Tools: Proficiency with Go, Node.js, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, gRPC, Terraform, or AWS.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, or related).

Nice-to-Have:

• Background in fintech, payments infrastructure, or high-growth tech environments.
