About the Role
Join an engineering team building an AI platform that uses agents to carry out work across business tools and systems. This hands-on individual contributor role spans product, backend platform, and AI infrastructure, with opportunities to focus on one area or work across several.
What You'll Do
Build and ship user-facing experiences across web and mobile, making it straightforward to delegate work to agents and follow their progress.
Own product features from early design and prototyping through production, incorporating customer feedback.
Develop backend APIs and systems for accounts, workspaces, permissions, billing, payments, analytics, and third-party integrations.
Design and operate reliable infrastructure for connectors, authentication, webhooks, and automations.
Build agent and runtime infrastructure, including execution environments, context management, and systems that support reliable, efficient agent operation.
Own production systems, deploys, and debugging, improving their security, reliability, and operational simplicity.
What We're Looking For
At least 3 years of experience shipping production software, with experience appropriate to a mid-level through Staff+ role.
Production TypeScript experience across Node.js backend services and React frontend applications, with backend or infrastructure ownership.
Hands-on experience with GCP and Docker, including managing deploys and debugging at the container or Linux level.
Experience building agent systems or AI infrastructure, such as agent runtimes, tool execution, sandboxed environments, or model serving, beyond simply integrating model APIs.
Background in systems such as databases, distributed systems, compilers, operating systems, or runtime infrastructure; Rust or C++ experience is useful.
Strong computer science fundamentals, typically supported by a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent preparation.
Recent, hands-on individual contributor experience, clear communication about technical decisions, and an interest in building products or systems from an early stage.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $225,000 to $425,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
