A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced Specialist / Consultant Psychiatrist to join its expanding mental health team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care for adult patients with a broad range of mental health conditions. The role offers an opportunity to work in a modern healthcare environment with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Candidates with UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board credentials are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and clinical evaluations. Diagnose and manage a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions. Develop individualized treatment and care plans. Provide appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. Manage acute psychiatric presentations and complex mental health cases. Provide ongoing follow-up and monitor treatment outcomes. Work collaboratively with psychologists, therapists, social workers, nurses, and other specialists. Provide appropriate risk assessment and patient safety management. Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings. Contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance, and continuing professional development. MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical qualification. Recognized postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry . Relevant post-specialization clinical experience. Strong experience in the assessment and management of adult psychiatric conditions. Candidates with UK CCT / MRCPsych, American Board, Australian Board, South African specialist qualifications , or equivalent internationally recognized credentials are encouraged to apply. Experience in a hospital, psychiatric facility, or multidisciplinary mental health setting preferred. Strong clinical judgment and communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and patient-management abilities. Commitment to ethical, evidence-based, and patient-centered psychiatric care. Subspecialty expertise in areas such as child and adolescent psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, or psychotherapy will be an advantage.
