We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate
Specialist Internal Medicine
physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic care for adult patients, managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions while delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
Perform comprehensive medical assessments, physical examinations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging studies, and other diagnostic tests to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective patient management.
Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory disorders, endocrine conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, and infectious diseases.
Provide preventive healthcare, health education, and lifestyle counseling to patients.
Coordinate patient care with specialists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams when referrals or advanced interventions are required.
Manage inpatient and outpatient cases while ensuring continuity of care.
Respond to medical emergencies and participate in on-call duties as required.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using the hospital's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Ensure compliance with Department of Health (DoH) Abu Dhabi regulations, hospital policies, infection control protocols, and international clinical guidelines.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.
Mentor junior physicians and contribute to departmental educational programs when appropriate.
Qualifications
MD, DNB, Arab Board, or equivalent qualification in Internal Medicine from a recognized institution.
Valid
DoH Abu Dhabi License
or
DoH Eligibility Letter
as a Specialist Internal Medicine physician.
Minimum
3–5 years of post-specialization clinical experience
in Internal Medicine.
Strong clinical knowledge in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of adult medical conditions.
Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
