We are delighted to be recruiting a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in NHS Forth Valley.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a compassionate, supportive and forward-thinking multidisciplinary team, working alongside colleagues who are passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and their families.
We welcome applications from Speech and Language Therapists who are committed to delivering high quality, evidence based care and who value collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement. We are particularly keen to hear from clinicians who enjoy working within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to service development, and supporting the wellbeing of both children, young people and families and the colleagues we work alongside.
In This Role, You Will
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
The duties of this post require membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. Further information is available from Disclosure Scotland.

In This Role, You Will
- Work within multidisciplinary teams to provide high quality assessment, intervention and support in line with evidence based practice, national guidance and local NHS Forth Valley policies.
- Use your specialist knowledge and clinical expertise to support the assessment and management of children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences and associated mental health needs.
- Communicate complex information clearly, effectively and compassionately to support shared understanding and positive outcomes.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of services for children, young people and families across NHS Forth Valley.
- Is HCPC registered as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enjoys working collaboratively and values the contribution of multidisciplinary team working.
- Demonstrates clinical expertise, creativity and initiative in supporting children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences and/or speech, language and communication needs.
- Is committed to delivering person-centred, compassionate care and fostering positive change.
