What you'll do

• Evaluate and treat adults and older adults with swallowing (dysphagia), cognitive-communication, speech, language, and voice disorders
• Complete clinical swallow evaluations and recommend diet textures, liquid consistencies, and safe-swallow strategies
• Develop individualized plans of care and functional goals with residents and families
• Train nursing and dietary staff on swallow precautions and communication strategies
• Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and the interdisciplinary team on short-term rehab and long-term care residents
• Document evaluations, daily treatment notes, and progress reports accurately and on time

What you'll need

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech therapy
• Skilled nursing, rehab, or adult medical experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
