Own site technology stability and the business relationship with Lynn operations leadership and pull modernization and transformation work from central DT teams to advance the Defense Engines and Services value stream. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities In this role, you will: Lead the Lynn site DT organization across LCM & Logistics, LATO, Engineering systems, and Digital Workplace, covering infrastructure, end-user support, network, and shop-floor manufacturing technology. Operate as a player-coach and develop the next layer of site IT managers. Own site technology stability and the business relationship with Lynn manufacturing and operations leadership, including active presence in plant-level Daily Management cadences, so disruptions clear faster. Close the site technology and cybersecurity gap, curb shadow IT, and drive risk-based modernization of an aging, largely military technology stack. Sustain and operationalize value from advanced analytics and agentic investments, and partner with central DT to close the data and analytics platform gap. Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures; ensure appropriate metrics, controls, and SOPs are in place; manage cross-training so the team is equipped to deliver. Manage client and vendor problem resolution and escalation, including oversight of contractor partners supporting the site. Set multi-generation plans to improve operations, manage Digital Technology spend, and lead cost-out projects. Drive adherence to IT compliance standards (SOX, ISO) and applicable U.S. defense and export-control requirements, minimizing exception processes and creating streamlined or automated solutions for gaps. Share technical, procedural, and business knowledge, and further colleagues' productivity through learning content, presentations, and a continuous learning culture. Education Qualification Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 15 years of professional experience Minimum 7 years of professional experience in IT Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience Eligibility Requirement: Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Experience with the design, performance, availability, and scalability of infrastructure across a large, complex site. Working knowledge of manufacturing and shop-floor technology, cybersecurity, and compliance in a regulated or defense environment. Demonstrated understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles (for example, Green Belt certified). Business Acumen Establishes operational performance metrics and drives continuous efficiency and improvement across systems, processes, and resources. Manages team and product operations across the site portfolio and makes tradeoffs based on key business priorities. Demonstrated customer focus; evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer and partners with the business to shape future initiatives. Decomposes problems and makes decisions when the problem or solution is not fully defined. Develops and executes effective strategy and speaks to mutual needs and win-win solutions. Leadership Leads and influences across a complex matrix organization and collaborates to solve problems while incorporating stakeholder input. Owns business decisions, including outcomes and any required rework plans. Coaches, mentors, and develops team members, and provides clear feedback on performance toward goals. Proactively identifies and removes obstacles on behalf of the team. Personal Attributes Excellent written and oral communication, with the ability to engage senior leadership with confidence and clarity.
