Responsibilities: Provide technical guidance, support, and subject‑matter expertise to the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) maintenance team, including troubleshooting and issue resolution Monitor the performance of instrumentation systems, identify reliability concerns, and recommend optimization initiatives to improve system integrity and uptime Manage spare parts strategies and maintain accurate Master Data (SBOMs, BOMs, material masters, and OCCs) Develop and prepare construction work packages for equipment replacements, modifications, and system upgrades Lead investigations related to E&I events and support incident management and root‑cause analysis activities Participate in annual Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and act as the primary instrumentation focal point throughout the process Support the development of maintenance and reliability strategies, assessing feasibility and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance overall productivity Location and other Key details: You will work out of our MacKay River site in Fort McMurray, Alberta. To learn more about living and working in Fort McMurray, click here Hours of work are 40 hours work/week, 10 hrs/day (Monday to Thursday 6:30am – 4:30pm); extended hours may be required based on business needs and turnaround support This position is safety sensitive If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory.
