Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Plan and implement projects at various customer work sites in the US and abroad, including the activities of staff and subcontractors. The primary customer contact for the duration of each project. May commission, resolve specification issues, handle correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/coordinate with staff as appropriate. Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility. Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field. Up to 30% travel domestic and international Note: We will not sponsor Visa's for this role now or in the future Required Qualifications Batchelor Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Finance 3 - 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on software development projects 3 -5 years of experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, Primavera P6) Desired Characteristics Proven experience in managing customer-facing projects, preferably in the software industry PMP (Project Management Professional) or PMI-ACP (PMI Agile Certified Practitioner) certification preferred Certification in software development methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, Kanban) is a plus Additional certifications related to the utility industry (e.g., Certified Energy Manager, NERC Certifications) are highly desirable Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills Experience in the utility industry, particularly with control room systems Knowledge of utility industry regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., NERC, FERC) Experience with utility industry-specific software (e.g., SCADA systems Note: To comply with US immigration and other legal requirements, it is necessary to specify the minimum number of years’ experience required for any role based within the USA. Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $104,000.00 and $156,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
