We’re Hiring | Senior Fullstack Software Engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join a fast-growing consumer technology team in San Francisco. This is an opportunity to play a key role in establishing a new web platform and bringing a rapidly growing mobile product to the web.
Role Details
- Position: Senior Fullstack Software Engineer
- Location: San Francisco, CA
- Work Model: On-site, 5 days per week
- Employment: Full-time
- Compensation: $200K–$400K + competitive equity
- Visa: Open to visa transfers, including OPT and H-1B transfers
Key Responsibilities
- Build and establish the web platform from the ground up, setting standards for future web and Android applications.
- Own the end-to-end web stack and deliver the web version of the company’s mobile collectibles trading-card product within approximately 3–6 months.
- Define React development standards, best practices, and architecture, with potential opportunities to contribute to React Native.
- Own and enhance internal tools and dashboards to improve operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers on API design, data models, and application performance.
- Build responsive, highly polished interfaces with thoughtful motion, animations, and micro-interactions.
- Make strong technical and product decisions in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in fullstack web engineering.
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, including modern patterns, hooks, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience shipping a 0→1 consumer web product at a startup — this is a key requirement.
- Experience owning frontend architecture, platforms, or standards for a consumer-facing application.
- Strong ability to translate Figma designs into polished, pixel-perfect production interfaces.
- Strong product sense with minimal reliance on design/UX handholding.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize independently and deliver quickly in ambiguous environments.
Preferred Experience
- Real-time applications or features
- Payments and complex purchase flows
- Consumer gaming or entertainment products
- React Native
- API design and data modeling
- No specific degree required
