Staff Product Manager

About the Role

Join an early-stage legal AI team as its first product manager, taking ownership of product strategy and roadmap for an AI-powered enterprise contracting platform. This is a founding-level role with direct influence over what gets built and how the product function develops.

What You'll Do

• Own product strategy and roadmap, deciding what to build, what to defer, and why.

• Gather and synthesize customer feedback from legal engineers who work directly with customers.

• Partner with engineering to scope work and plan delivery, adapting sprint practices for AI-assisted development.

• Discuss AI and agent architecture tradeoffs with engineers and quickly prototype ideas using tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.

• Build the product function from the ground up, including prioritization, documentation, launches, and success measures.

• Use SQL or coding agents to analyze product data such as funnels and cohorts.

What We're Looking For

• Five to ten years of product management experience on AI-focused engineering teams, with ownership of product roadmaps.

• Experience shipping core AI or LLM-based products to production and working with agentic systems, including evaluation, latency, model behavior, and context.

• Product management experience in B2B SaaS or AI-native companies, with early-stage startup, founding, or first product manager experience.

• Technical fluency and close collaboration experience with engineers, including hands-on prototyping with modern AI developer tools.

• Ability to work on-site in the New York City metropolitan area.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $180,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
