Staff Product Manager

About the Role

Join an AI-powered legal technology team as its first product manager. You will own product strategy and roadmap for an AI platform that helps enterprise legal teams review and manage contracts, taking the product from zero to one.

What You'll Do

• Set product strategy and decide what to build, what to defer, and why.

• Combine customer feedback from legal specialists working directly with customers to guide product direction.

• Partner with engineering to plan and scope work, adapting delivery plans for AI-assisted development.

• Discuss AI and agent architecture tradeoffs with engineers and quickly prototype product ideas with AI coding assistants.

• Build the product function from scratch, including prioritization, documentation, launches, and success measurement.

• Use SQL or coding agents to analyze product data such as funnels and cohorts.

What We're Looking For

• Five to ten years of product management experience in an AI-focused engineering team, with ownership of product roadmaps.

• Experience shipping core AI or LLM-based products to production and working with agentic systems, including evaluations, latency, model behavior, and context.

• Background in B2B SaaS or an AI-native company, and experience at an early-stage startup, as a founder, or as a first product hire.

• Hands-on experience prototyping with AI developer tools and collaborating closely with engineers on scope and delivery.

• Ability to work on site in the New York City area. Relocation assistance is not available.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $180,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
