Staff Product Manager

About the Role

Join an AI-powered legal technology company as its first product manager, owning product strategy for an AI platform that supports enterprise contracting. You will shape the roadmap, guide the product from early stages, and build the product function in close partnership with engineering and customer-facing legal experts.

What You'll Do

• Own product strategy and the roadmap, making clear decisions about priorities and tradeoffs.

• Gather and synthesize customer feedback from legal experts working directly with customers.

• Plan and scope work with engineering, adapting delivery plans for AI-assisted development.

• Discuss AI and agent architecture tradeoffs with engineers and prototype ideas using tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.

• Establish product practices for prioritization, documentation, launches, and measuring success.

What We're Looking For

• Five to ten years of product management experience on AI-focused engineering teams, including roadmap ownership.

• Experience shipping core AI or LLM-powered products to production and working with agentic systems, including evaluations, latency, model behavior, and context.

• Background in B2B SaaS or AI-native products, with experience at an early-stage startup, as a founder, or as an early product hire.

• Ability to prototype with AI developer tools such as Claude Code or Cursor, and analyze product data using SQL or coding agents.

• Strong collaboration with engineers and sustained experience at prior companies. Product experience should extend beyond internal tools, HR workflows, and APIs or integrations.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $180,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
