Standard Job Description
The candidate will join a high performing analysis team within Lockheed Martin, supporting new business captures, Independent Research and Development (IRAD), and legacy programs. The candidate will participate in the Operations Analysis process by performing research, creating Analysis Plans, developing metrics to assess system performance, developing conclusions and recommendations from simulation output, and supporting code development/maintenance of both core simulation tools and adjacent scripts. The candidate will be expected to interface with senior analysts and program leadership on a regular basis.
Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice
The candidate will leverage their skills to support the following areas:
- Strike missile systems
- Missile Defense systems
- Sensors, including Radar and Infrared
- Missile Defense Battle Management and Fire Control
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
Ability to receive and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
MATLAB and/or Python skills
Ability to tackle detailed technical assignments, often requiring research and algorithm/model development to capture system behavior
Desired Skills
Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field (Aerospace Engineering preferred)
Modeling experience of Missile Defense systems, Battle Management, Fire Control, Sensing
AFSIM experience
C++ experience
STK experience
GIT/Software Configuration Management
Probability and statistical analysis
Exposure to LINUX operating systems
Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) concepts
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $58200.00 - $108200.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
