You design the fuselage structure of an electric vertical take-off aircraft, starting from concept models and baseline specifications.
DETAILS
- Location: Aichi (Nagoya area) — on-site
- Long-term mission, ASAP start
- Freelance or Abbeal permanent — Mobbeal cell for visa support if relocating
- Open to foreign nationals with a valid visa
YOUR PROFILE
- Based in Japan with a valid work authorization preferred; candidates abroad considered if a work visa can be obtained within about a month
- Structural/strength design experience in transportation (aerospace preferred)
- 3D-CAD CATIA V5 (required)
- CFRP composite design (strong plus)
- Aerospace background preferred
- Fluent English (Japanese a plus)
THE ROLE
- Design fuselage structure and strength
- Lead structural analysis and verification of the airframe
- Integrate components (power electronics, batteries, avionics) into a light, compact, safe airframe
- Balance size, weight and structural integrity
