Recruitment bonuses for full-time, permanent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) include: $3,000 on start date, $3,000 at 6 months of service, $5,000 at 1 year of service, and $7,000 at 2 years of service. There is a 2-year return of service requirement for this recruitment and retention bonus. Reporting to the Nurse Manager Clinics, the Supervisor Client Flow is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Clinics through the following key responsibilities: schedules support staffing, provides new support staff with orientation and training, oversees and ensures that outgoing and incoming time sensitive clinicals samples/specimens are handled in the appropriate manner, prepares requisitions for purchasing and ordering of supplies and equipment within budget limits, responsible for preparing and submitting payroll to the Manager and responsible for leave and attendance documentation The knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this job are typically acquired through a Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) diploma from a recognized institution for practical nursing education with two years of medical office or clinics experience including one year of supervisory experience. Candidates must be eligible to register with CANNN (College and Association of Nurses of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut). Current BLS and annual recertification is a requirement. This is a Highly Sensitive Position and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, along with a clear Vulnerable Sector Check is required. The Official Languages of Nunavut are Inuktut, English and French. Applicants may submit their resume in any of the official languages of Nunavut. Fluency in more than one of Nunavut’s official languages would be considered an asset. Knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, land, Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit, Inuktut and experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment are also considered assets. Acceptable combinations of education and experience may be considered for this position.
