As a System & Mission Analysis Engineer, you will join the System & Mission Analysis Department and contribute to the definition, justification and validation of Latitude’s launcher system.


You will work across multiple engineering disciplines and interact closely with system, propulsion, fluids, mechanical, testing, quality and configuration management teams to ensure overall consistency between mission objectives, system requirements and launcher development.


Your responsibilities


In this role, you will:


  • Contribute to design justification studies related to the Launch Vehicle, flight phases and flight safety.
  • Perform and/or review trajectory and performance analyses.
  • Define, draft and manage high-level system functions, specifications and requirements (HLRs), as well as interface requirements (IRDs).
  • Establish the qualification logic for the launcher system and its stages, including the preparation of validation plans for HLR and IRD technical requirements.
  • Contribute to the update of Launch System and Launch Vehicle Definition Files (DDF).
  • Contribute to the update of Launch System and Launch Vehicle Justification Files (DJF).
  • Organize, support and participate in technical reviews for the launcher system and its stages, including PDR, CDR, QR and other key milestones, ensuring consistency with mission analysis requirements.
  • Participate in subsystem development reviews and review the associated technical documentation.
  • Ensure consistency between system and subsystem developments and mission requirements.
  • Create and contribute to technical trade-off analyses, including DACI-based decision-making processes.
  • Contribute to the specification of internally developed mission analysis tools.
  • Support the management of system and mission technical budgets.

Your profile


Education


You hold a Master’s degree or Engineering degree (Bac+5) in general engineering, with a strong technical background in one or more of the following areas:


  • Fluid mechanics
  • Mechanical engineering
  • ESS or related system engineering disciplines


Skills and knowledge


You have:


  • Strong multidisciplinary engineering knowledge, allowing you to understand complex systems as a whole.
  • A strong ability to synthesize technical information and communicate it clearly.
  • A curious, open-minded and collaborative approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
  • Good knowledge of launch vehicle sizing, performance assessments and staging analyses.
  • Good knowledge of mission analysis and trajectory calculation.
  • A good professional level of English.

Experience


You have 5 to 10 years of professional experience in System engineering, and/or Space engineering, preferably within launch vehicle, mission analysis or complex aerospace system environments.
