Talent Acquisition Lead

Our client is a rapidly growing, venture-backed financial operations platform technology company. With strong product-market fit, recurring revenue growth, and sustained profitability, they are entering a significant scaling phase and looking to expand their team by more than 2x over the next year. To support this growth, they are seeking an entry level (1-4 years experience) Talent Lead to help build and execute a world-class recruiting function. This individual will play a critical role in attracting, engaging, and hiring exceptional talent across technical and non-technical teams while helping maintain an exceptionally high hiring bar.

Position Overview:

The Talent Lead will partner closely with company leadership, hiring managers, and external recruiting partners to drive hiring initiatives across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys building recruiting processes, and is passionate about identifying high-performing talent.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Sourcing

• Source high-caliber candidates through targeted outreach, professional networks, industry communities, and academic institutions.
• Build and maintain pipelines for both technical and non-technical positions.
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies that improve candidate quality and hiring efficiency.

Recruiting & Hiring

• Support company-wide hiring efforts across multiple functions.
• Assist with the creation and posting of job descriptions and recruitment campaigns.
• Screen and evaluate candidates to assess qualifications, motivation, and organizational fit.
• Manage candidate communications and ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and onsite recruiting activities.
• Partner with hiring managers and company leadership to effectively move candidates through the hiring process.
• Improve recruiting workflows, systems, and processes to support organizational growth.

External Recruiting Partner Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for external recruiting agencies and contract recruiters.
• Monitor partner performance, pipeline activity, and communication effectiveness.
• Evaluate and onboard additional recruiting partners as needed.
• Ensure external recruiting efforts align with organizational hiring standards and candidate experience expectations.

Required Qualifications:

• This is an entry level role: 1-4 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related talent function within a fast-growing startup environment.
• Experience managing recruiting efforts from sourcing through candidate conversion.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze hiring performance and identify process improvements.
• Proven track record of meeting goals in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience recruiting for technical roles, including Software Engineering and Product Management positions.
• Experience managing recruiting agencies, search firms, or contract recruiting partners.
