Bring your recruitment experience, curiosity and ideas to a role where you can make a genuine impact.
We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the team at Goodstart.
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, you’ll work across a varied portfolio, delivering end-to-end recruitment for our Centre Support Office, building proactive talent pipelines, supporting migration and visa sponsorship activities, managing our employee referral program and stepping across the broader TA function when extra support is needed.
This could be a great opportunity for an experienced recruiter who enjoys variety, building relationships and finding smarter ways to connect great people with great opportunities.
Your Impact:
You’ll join a supportive Talent Acquisition team where you can broaden your recruitment experience, contribute ideas and work across a range of talent initiatives, all while supporting an organisation focused on improving outcomes for children and families.
- Deliver end-to-end recruitment across a range of Centre Support Office portfolios, partnering with hiring leaders to create a positive and inclusive experience.
- Proactively source, engage and nurture talent through LinkedIn, SEEK, SuccessFactors, Boolean search and professional networks.
- Build sustainable talent pipelines and communities that support both immediate and future workforce needs.
- Support migration and visa sponsorship processes, coordinate our employee referral program and build relationships with external talent partners.
- Work flexibly across the broader TA team during peak periods, while contributing to employer branding, projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What Goodstart can offer you:
- Flexible work arrangements giving you choice about when and how work will be done in order to better manage your work and non-work needs
- Salary packaging benefits available through AccessPay (eligibility applies)
- Access to discounted childcare (up to 15%)
- Fitness Passport - access to gyms and pools for you and your family at a heavily discounted price
- Discounted health care and access to employee wellbeing program with BUPA
- Exclusive discounts on travel, gym memberships, Apple and Dell products, and more.
- Free annual flu shot (optional)
- Option to purchase extra leave for even greater work life balance
- First Nations Support and Cultural Leave
- Work for a company that has an aspiration to be globally recognised for early years practice and learning outcomes
- Gain significant investment in your growth and development with support, tools, training and experiences that will truly enhance the progress and outcomes for children in their earliest years.
You’ll bring to the table:
We’re looking for someone who is curious, adaptable and comfortable balancing recruitment delivery with proactive sourcing and changing priorities.
- Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end recruitment, ideally within an internal or high-volume recruitment environment.
- Strong proactive sourcing and talent pipelining capability, with confidence using a variety of platforms, networks and sourcing techniques.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and create a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
- An organised, solutions-focused and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and recruitment assignments.
- Experience supporting migration or immigration-focused recruitment would be highly regarded but isn’t essential.
- Current QLD Working with Children Check
- Willing to obtain a Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform
