Due to ongoing development, we are currently seeking a professional with experience in managing teams and conducting advanced laboratory studies. AS a Team Leader in our analytical department, you will be responsible for overseeing analytical processes, setting individual objectives for team members, and ensuring compliance with GLP/GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing, supervising and coordinating the work of team members within the analytical team.
- Identifying operational and investment needs, preparing investment plans, and communicating requirements to the direct supervisor.
- Ongoing maintenance of laboratory infrastructure and functionality of laboratory equipment and infrastructure.
- Preparing operational procedures necessary for the effective functioning of the team.
- Planning purchasing requirements related to research activities conducted by the team.
- Negotiating purchasing terms and conditions with external suppliers.
- Cooperating with the internal Logistics Department regarding procurement activities.
- Ensuring the ongoing maintenance and proper functioning of laboratory infrastructure.
- Monitoring the timely completion of analytical activities and ensuring adherence to agreed deadlines.
- Ensuring the subordinate team's adherence to GLP/GMP principles, health and safety regulations, and other procedures.
- Preparing presentations, summaries, and project updates.
- Preparing reports related to supervised projects.
- Maintaining ongoing communications with external clients regarding ongoing projects.
Your Background
- University degree in the field of Life Sciences, with a specialization in areas such as Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- At last 5 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical industry.
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience in team management.
- Experience with instrumental techniques (HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, IR).
- Fluency in English (at last B2) and communicative Polish is a must.
- High motivation, excellent organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
